Are you in a situation where you need advice, other people's experiences or just a pat on the back? Ægteskab Uden Grænser (ÆUG) works to help more Danish-international couples and families build a network and find support in one another. We hope that people who have come to Denmark through family reunification will feel less alone, and that friendships will grow across cultures.
If you experience violence, threats or control in your relationship, you are not alone, and help is available. IM VALID is an organisation run by survivors and advisers. They support international women and their children in Denmark with guidance, a community and help finding financial support, therapy and legal aid.
Forum
Our user-driven forum offers advice from others in the same situation, on everything from the formal rules to everyday challenges. Open the forum.
Facebook groups
The groups are independent of the association, but offer advice on everyday challenges, debate and a chance to build social networks. There are also information and debate groups about Danish immigration law.
